Environmental Site Assessments
Omega Environmental Services is a full-service environmental consulting firm that has provided numerous Phase I, Phase II and Phase III environmental site assessments (ESAs) over the past 20 years to the public and private sectors, relative to construction and development of properties.
We evaluate the potential liability associated with a property through a historical record search, regulatory research, geology and hydrogeology, document review, interviews, and site reconnaissance.
Omega ESA reports are in strict compliance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E 1527-05 standard and the US EPA “All Appropriate Inquiries,” 40 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 312, which is necessary to qualify for the Innocent Landowner Defense Safety & Laboratory Services.
Site Investigations
We characterize the extent of contamination due to underground storage tank leaks, manufacturing processes and dry cleaning operations in surface and sub-surface media from various chemical compounds through the collection of soil, soil gas and ground water samples.
Phase II environmental site assessments evaluate the extent of contamination from chemical compounds or metals in soil and groundwater. These assessments are conducted to characterize the extent of soil contamination for the purpose of remediation.
Remediation
We provide remedial design options/technologies and the cleanup handling and disposal of contaminated soil and groundwater.
Phase III environmental site assessments include the development of regulatory agency approved work plans, remedial action plans, feasibility studies, and the appropriate remediation system depending on the site.
Regulatory Compliance & Permitting
We assist with acquiring the appropriate permits and regulatory agency approvals necessary for handling environmental concerns.
