Join Omega at College Vendor Expo to Learn More About Environmental Assessment for Renovation
Stop by the Omega Environmental Services table at the California State University Fullerton Vendor Expo from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19th.
Campuses across California are in the midst of a construction boom as aging structures are demolished or renovated to make way for state-of-the-art student unions, upgraded classrooms and more student housing.
However, these older buildings often require assessment and remediation for common environmental hazards, such as asbestos and lead, prior to renovation and demolition.
Join Omega Environmental Services at the California State University Fullerton Vendor Expo Wednesday, Feb 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn more about our expertise in environmental assessment and remediation for college and university buildings undergoing construction-related activities.
The Right Partner for Keeping University Renovations on Track
Omega has extensive experience working with universities and colleges to safely update campus structures. One example includes our work helping Occidental College remove asbestos and lead from a historic building undergoing renovation. Over a period of about four months, Omega effectively and safely managed the assessment and remediation, saving Occidental $900,000 in the process.
The project was such a success that the L.A.-based college partnered with Omega to renovate Johnson Hall, as well as some of their older dormitories.

Getting Rid of Hazardous Materials While Minimizing Health Risks

As a full-service environmental management and hazardous materials consulting firm, Omega’s staff has more than 25 years of experience. Omega’s diverse team provides both the technical support and deep expertise needed for safely removing asbestos in the university setting, including assessment, project design, remediation and oversight of renovation processes to reduce the risk of exposure as well as to ensure full compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
